SJB Fine Art Services specializes in selecting and acquiring modern and contemporary fine art for private collectors, businesses, foundations and prominent hotels. SJB FAS provides assistance with acquisitions, collection management, appraisals and curatorial services to a range of clients from burgeoning collectors to those with expansive collections. The goal is to develop collections that endure and retain value, while providing each client with a uniquely customized experience. By tapping into an extensive network of established and emerging artists, galleries and private dealers, SJB FAS presents a wide variety of media and subjects tailored to each client’s unique needs. SJB FAS also provides an immersive educational experience for clients by coordinating customized viewings, gallery tours and artist studio visits. SJB FAS can also assist with framing, delivery, installation, storage, insurance and any other aspects of maintaining an art program.



Sarah Jane received a B.A. in History/Art History from Emory University in Atlanta and an M.A. in Modern Art: History and Criticism fromColumbia University in New York. While in Atlanta she served as the Director of Vaknin Schwartz Gallery, where she helped to organize several exhibitions by high profile artists including Nan Goldin, Jenny Holzer, and Louise Bourgeois. While attending graduate school in New York, she worked for the prominent Art Advisor Barbara Schwartz, and after receiving her Masters, she spent two years as a Sales Associate for the internationally renowned gallery Cheim & Read. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2004, she worked as the Associate Director of Christopher Grimes Gallery and the Sales Manager of the fine art publisher Gemini G.E.L. before starting her own art advisory service in 2007. In 2008, Sarah Jane joined forces with the art consulting firm Soho Myriad to complete several large-scale hotel projects, including the art program for the Four Seasons, Washington D.C. and the Aria building inside City Center, Las Vegas. With her company, SJB Fine Art Services she continues to advise both private and corporate clients on their collections and acquisitions, while also curating special projects such as the lobby of the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood and the exhibition “Artificial Paradises” at ACME gallery in Los Angeles.
